The campaign trails are already under trial with their commitments laid out this week in their manifestos pre-emptively panned. The HSJ last week reported that there must be more to these health policies than flimsy one-liners. 2020health is investing time into looking at all Party manifestos with greater scrutiny. But with so many policy pieces flying around it has become hard to see what the parties truly stand for healthwise.
Some seem overly brash, like cutting the Department of Health in half (Lib Dems) whilst others are still frustratingly vague (Lib dems and Tories on targets) and worst of all non-existant (labour makes no mention of NHS IT).
